True, but it's much more difficult to pretend you are running wire to a plunger to blow up an old mine with a traditional extension cord.

Label says 8 Amps/1000W is the maximum current/power draw, which seems pretty low -- but given it's only 16AWG, I suppose that makes sense. Going to pass.

This seems like it's built to sell to someone who doesn't know about wire gauge. If you want something heavy duty with four outlets, you want at least 14awg if not 12awg.

It seems like a 3 outlet extension cord takes up a whole lot less room

Still showing available for me at this price, for pick-up and local delivery. Looks like their website/central shipping is OOS but probably many thousands available locally on a YMMV basis.

An old mine? You just totally derailed my Bridge Over the River Kwai fantasy.

Be careful not to overload this one. In theory should only support 960W at 120V continues due to the thin wire in it. Needs to be 14 or 12 AWG to support the same as a regular outlet.

Walmart deals are almost always location dependent. Often you can change your location to a store where there is stock, add to cart, and then you'll be able to check out with the lower price. Doesn't always work, but it does frequently.

16awg not really worth. 14awg at this length and price would be worth the effort.
