No oculink and DDR 4 memory. Oculink allows use of an egpu with more bandwidth than USB or TB.

Um690 has a faster CPU, ddr5, and supports USB4 40Gbps

But oculink is better for egpu...

They're both DDR5 if looking at the UM690 for $240, same 680M GPU, and basically same CPU. The 6800H, 6850H, and 6900HX are all 8C16T CPUs within 200mhz or 5% performance of each other. The Ryzen Pro line has a few features most home users will never care about.
The big differences are the 16GB vs 32GB RAM, 256GB vs 512GB SSD, and new vs refurb.
While OcuLink is interesting and could someday be really useful, you're looking at an additional $500 minimum just to get in the door of any eGPU worth bothering.
The DDR4 listed on the graphic is for the older 5900HX CPU. The 6000s/AM5 only support DDR5. AMD didn't do like Intel did with LGA1700 chips supporting both.

It should be on this page,
https://www.minisforum.com/produc...um690-slim

But the page is broken in Chrome and Firefox for me for some reason. I cannot load the Specs tab. You may be able to.

There are plenty of reviews from when it came out roughly 2 years ago that include detailed specs and pictures,

Got a refurbished UM690S 16GB/512GB from MF this week, shipped from Texas to SoCal. Excellent condition, no dents or nicks. $221 shipped. I 3D printed a replacement cover that can accommodate a 120mm slim fan (https://www.printables.com/model/...rum-um690s) and still use the Sata SSD as boot drive. I cut a notch for my Oculink cable to have a way out from the M.2 Oculink adapter. If you're up for tinkering, you can go that route.

As for the GMK tech unit, it has Oculink and 32GB memory, so no need to make a Frankenstein box like I did.

Please excuse my ignorance, but would this be as powerful as an Xbox Series X/PS5?

They only have the UM690(non-S) available which was reviewed poorly for having really bad thermal management and noise. The UM690S improved the cooler but it is not available for that price.

Personally, I would expect GMKTec to not be any better in this area. I only really trust Beelink for quality when it comes to these smaller mini PC brands. Mini forum is hit or miss
