This always happens. I think I've finally found a good deal on something I need and the first comment is how they paid half the price in some store in Kentucky. Now it seems like a bad deal and I don't want to buy it anymore.

The poor reviews are mostly about the directions. Watch whitehouse farms on YouTube for their assembly video instead. there might be some slight discrepancy since the video is 3 years old. Someone mentioned that there's didn't include pins like in the video. Assuming they may have modified some parts

NO - i read the reviews -- some people missing hardware, some the holes were not drilled properly or at all, some got hardware for 2 right drawers, some missing parts, etc etc ...

YES they all agreed that the instructions were lacking BUT most of the 1-3 stars seemed to have legitimate concerns ... The issue is that the thing ways literally a ton and if you get one and its messed up they don't send parts to fix - they want you to return the entire thing to the store ..AFTER you box it back up ...

I have five of these. For $100-200 it is well worth it. The directions aren't great but not that bad. You do need to make sure the uprights that are partially assembled are done right, the bottom horizontal bar was backwards on all of mine.
