Samsung 990C (year older than 990D) - 11 channel sound bar system price range is the low $600s on occasional sales and would be a much better buy over this

Look up 990c/990d on past deals and you will be able to review a large amount of comments and feedback.

Note the above for $140 more is the 900c, not the 990c

I got the recent SD for the 800c as well and just set it up yesterday - so far it sounds really nice in a fairly small room (15'x20') on a BT connection. Will be getting a cable soon...

I got the 800c for $366. If I didn't, I might have considered getting this one instead. But the 800c better fits my budget of up to $500. Although the 900c is just over that budget, tax will send it well beyond. Maybe everyone asking if it's worth it should ultimately think about what they are willing to spend and work from there.

I got it at $565, then I saw this price on Friday. I thought I would wait until monday to see if they would reduce even further to get that price match. I guess I will never know.

I got the SWA-9500S last month for about $100 but I ended up upgrading due to the recent Q990D deal which comes with rear speakers. If anyone is looking for these rear speakers to connect with the Q900C and in the Houston area, I am happy to give it to you at the same cost.
