I've waited for sales and built up over the years, I have 20,25,30,35,40,45,50,60,70.
Started low and worked my way up.
I'm hoping for a similar deal on 80's just for chest press and one arm row.
Not quite ready for 90's yet, wish I was, this is a great deal.

Honestly, I have nearly a full set of regular and am strongly considering buying a powerblock and selling the regulars for the space benefits alone.
Curious, what're your negatives re adjustables, aside from the specific quirks they may hold (I've heard powerblocks are tricky due to being square, and know other adjustables can have issues with holding the weight set or may not be resilient.)

I get for space the adjustable are nice, but they feel awkward for certain exercises (like chest press where it's harder to rest on the legs to kick up), and as my son gets older we can workout together without having to take turns waiting for the same equipment.
My wife also started and is doing well now, mostly uses smaller sizes (5,8,12) but as she works up and gets stronger it will be nice to have a full set for eveyone.
My friend had some bowflex adjustables that I used for awhile while he was rehabbing an injury.
They did the job, but I started with a 35 lb Walmart deal for 17.50 a piece a few years back and worked from there. It's a personal preference for sure.
You're not wrong lol
This is over the course of 5-6 years, I feel like going from 45/50 on chest press to 70's and ready for 80's over that time is not even what an average male is capable of (3 rotator cuff tears).

You can't drop adjustables like these...gotta be careful if someone else uses them too. Teenagers will ruin them in short order lol
