I just replaced a battery on my cyberpower and it was only $23 shipped from amazon. It was an easy swap too.

I bought one of these a few months back and it has a surprising amount of coil whine. I did some searching online and others complained about the same thing. Something to keep in mind.

Anyone have any recs for where to buy batteries for these things? Mine's due for a new one. Just get whatever is cheap on Amazon, or is there something better?

I have an older one of these from Costco. I was on vacation when the battery failed and when it failed it stopped providing power to my router which meant I couldn't view any of my cameras or control any smart devices. Are there any power supplies that still allow power to the devices on a battery fail?

I think just Amazon unless you want to spring for a brand name like yuasa or OE batteries which cost significantly more. You might be able to get higher capacity in the same physical size like 9 Ah instead of 7 Ah for a few bucks more.

Does this use lead-acid, or the longer lasting Li-ion / LFP batteries?

If the former, are there any UPS near this price range that uses the latter?

I was in the Scarborough Maine store last Friday, they have more than 20 units. My harman pellet stove did not like the UPS, maybe it is not pure sine wave.

Lead acid.

Li-ion doesn't not have the peak voltages needed to maintain the advertised power output a computer on heavy load demands. Lead acid is also better suited to be plugged in all the time while it will degrade the li-ion performance.

If you want li-ion you can replace the lead acid on an older UPS unit with it from li-ion you get from amazon or something.

Which Ecoflow would you suggest in this situation? Laptop and modem/router, Thanks
I think anything that's second generation or newer should be fast enough on outage response

do we have to worry about these kinds of batteries also being counterfeit from amazon?

Please do not interchange lead acid to li-ion. They are different battery chemistry that have different charging parameters. Wrong charging parameter can cause fire or explosion.

Can this power on from an off state, with no outlet power?
No you can't. I have the same one. Found this out the hard way during a hurricane power outage when trying to save battery power. Couldn't turn it back on.

I did test the one I bought and the one battery showed 15 mins run time for a desktop with 1000 watt psu, Amd 6900xt etc.....I just need it for power blinks which I get often....im in the woods and high winds cause quick outages.

The reviews are mixed... I took the chance at 50% off.

I snagged one of two left on the rack, price is showing 99.97 which indicates its on clearance. Wish I could grab the other one but that's all I can afford. This is in San Jose, CA

The Costco location in Tempe, AZ (Priest & Elliot) had eleven units as of a couple hours ago for the $99.97 price.

Probably only need 2 batteries for the 1350VA and higher units... so I stick to the one battery units now unless I really need the extra juice.
