Found the workaround after much research though so if you find a deal... go for it: 1) make an extra PSN account on your playstation with an EU address (make one up, just make sure its in the region the game came from... EU or otherwise) 2)install the DLC content while logged in on this account... main game content doesn't matter 3) ensure local console content sharing is enabled in the PS settings (mine was on by default).

Boom! it should show up for your main account and be playable. I had the EU issue with the yuffie DLC for the first game but right now i'm playing it fine.

I got so lucky a year and a half ago with the PS5 slim disc Spider-Man 2 at staples for $399. I can't believe they havnt done anything since.

I'll wait until I can be assured it's the NA version so there's no issues with the DLC. Anyone know how long someone should wait to purchase or if it might go out of print. I ended up getting a PS4 version of the first release because the PS% version shot up in price.

You can buy it from GameFly for $29. I've purchased dozens of games from them and they always come in perfect condition with a case and any codes (as applicable) will be unredeemed because they just send out the discs for rentals.

Since I'm dealing with this same problem with Elden Ring at the moment (received an EU copy two years ago, never realized it was a problem until I bought a PS5 and tried to claim my free upgrade), can I ask for more detail on how you specify an EU address? I don't recall PSN prompting me for an address at any point.

You will not get a controller skin. Was for launch only and they ran out. This is nothing but the standard game, nothing else.
