aluminum or not it really doesn't matter much...

just received the pods today... imo Solimo and Petes are still better as far as taste goes

I tried it today and it's bitter. I'm a huge fan of Peet's, enjoy Lavazza, and not a fan of Solimo's and this is worse than Solimo's. I plan to give the rest away in my Buy Nothing Group.

Well, it does matter a lot, from a recycling standpoint, not to mention trying to lower the amount of plastic that you ingest daily and many feel that plastic capsules don't work as well.

The solimo are very, very hit or miss.. Boxes will 1 Taste great, 2 taste great, 3 taste and smell like a garbage dump, 4 taste great, 5 taste like garbage, 6 garbage, 7 garbage.
Same but not quite as good and nowhere near as bad extremes for Amazon basics

I've also had a few boxes of solimo come open with pods loose spilled in larger box and a couple times with 25ish to 35ish of the 50 actually being there

interesting observations.. i guess i've been lucky so far 5 of my boxes came out good

I also find amazon basics/fresh in aluminum to be the worst...the taste is just awful on those for all flavors except decaf.
