Fasteners that hold together the front and back pieces of the acrylic frame. They allow for the frame to be opened and the photo switched out. But take care that the photo you choose doesn't get covered by the circles in a way that makes the photo look horrible (e.g. a circle positioned perfectly to make someone look headless).
They're just acrylic. The magnetic part of the product is in the form of a thin sheet that covers the entire back surface.

Yeah, but practically it's a bit hairy because it would take some effort to make a replacement glossy, high-res, no-margin photo print that looks as good as the original unless you have access to a really good printer. Otherwise you'd probably be paying CVS to print it, at which point it's probably simpler to just buy another frame from them too.
