I bought this for probably this price a couple years ago. It sucks. Wasn't expecting much, but the bits are soft and small. After about 6 months the bits were rusting, even though I simply kept it in my nightstand drawer. Got a Milwaukee for a couple dollars more and so far a lot happier with that one

No, the regular price is also $2.28 so there is no deal being offered at all!

The entire point of visiting this site is to find deals, so folks here who post products that are being sold at the regular price waste everyone's time. They also do a disservice to SlickDeals itself, by devaluing the service they provide.

I think that posts which do not show any form of deal or saving (like this one) should be taken down.

I have the exact same tool in craftsman branding. It's good, but I use it only occasionally and I don't think the plastic would hold up if you changed the bits around a few times daily. Not sure it's a deal at regular price though.

The regular price is $2.49, but we're splitting hairs here.

Also, what may not be a "deal" to you may be a deal to others and vice versa. If you want to be the deals police, hit up the site admin and request access.

And for anyone curious about it, I bought it on a whim and ended up finding it was a lot more useful than I thought it would be.

Bought this a few years back on a similar deal. Turned out to be a little workhorse. I wound up buying another on the next deal that popped up. Kept one in the car and one at work.
No regrets whatsoever.

I bought this years ago and still have it. Its not useful for every task, but for some tasks its perfect. Its very small and the caps are annoying.

If you work on electronics/ relays, smaller projects for instance a pc build this is a great tool. not for construction light switches and plugs and such.
