Great deal! I almost bought this but I really want the 6 disc set that includes Star Trek 5 and 6 (Undiscovered Country is my all-time favorite).

Yeah, I bought this 4 pack in 2021 for $50 and that was a great deal at the time... there wasn't even a 6 pack I don't think Frown. Since I picked up the ST:TNG set, now I have 1-4, 7-10... whivh sucks... maybe the will do a 5-6 boxset some day Big Grin. I should have waited like I did for star wars... I am assuming they will have a nice set with all of them in one box some day like Best Buy did with SW?

$6 bucks a piece for 1-4 in 4K... no brainer. Even if I find 5 & 6 for $12 each on sale, still makes it $40 less than the 6-movie collection.

5 & 6 individuals hardly ever go on sale. It seems that is by design.

Excuse me. I just wanted to ask one question. What does a Trekkie need with The Final Frontier?

I've been rewatching these movies, and 4 and 6 were the best, 2 was pretty good too. 5 was the worst, but I doubt that really surprises anyone. 4 was pretty much the strangest yet worked well.

Acting wise I think the first 3 are hard to beat.

I don't think so but not sure. I picked 4 movie set up last time it was on sale, then Motion Picture Directors Cut went on sale for BD and I bought it around $10 then after it went on sale for $12 for the 4k. Sometimes timing doesn't work in my favor.

A weird combo. I understand pairing II/III/IV, because they are a trilogy. However, if they are going to include I, then they should have included V and VI.

If you're watching Star Trek for the strength of the acting you're doing it wrong.
Not sure why the downvotes here. ST (TOS at least) clearly never took itself too seriously. Just rewatched 1-5 over the last month, it is amazing how much hamming some of the main actors were doing on camera and clearly just for fun (DeForest Kelley especially). No one was trying to win an Oscar....except for Shatner.
