same here, looking for a deal on Fed/State. I found usually best price is from NE in Jan.

I did the same thing. While I am still not completely comfortable with all my tax information online, setting that aside, FreeTaxUSA seemed equally easy to use, perhaps even more so in some regards, and just as complete as HR Block. As the price spread increases between Block, and even more so with Intuit, I think more will turn to the many other choices including FreeTaxUSA.

Just use freetaxusa. It's free for federal and $15 for state. Works out to cheaper and it imports from H&R Block from last year. I'm done with the Block.
