I used my ID once and it never let me use it again for another deal, it seems the ID quota is only one.

Reps to who can tell me the best way to get a new phone number to port in for this deal.

I don't plan on using the phone for actual cell service, so unlocking is not necessary. I just want a decent android device to use. Thanks in advance!

Update: I ordered a number for $5 from numberbarn, enabled SMS on it, then was able to port it to order this Motorola Edge for free + $55 the plan. Thanks FabulousStranger526!

I tried. Bought number from numberbarn. Had to switch to a monthly 2 dollar parking plan to enable SMS setup. SMS setup 19/month but first month free. I was able to send a test message from my phone no problem. But total wireless verification text messages are not going through. Tried several times over last 45 minutes. I did get a great number from numberbarn, super easy to remember, for 10 bucks. No great use for that at the moment, but I guess I'm glad I went through this crap even though no phone so far
I've never used numberbarn, so I'm unsure if this is even possible, but if you can text HELP to 611611 from your number, that might open up the line of communication to get the verification from Total. That's what worked for me on Google voice.

Could someone confirm the unlock policy? It states "60 days after activation" but didn't mention if the phone has to be still active on their network or only one month service is ok.

unrelated, but I hate when people use the word memory to talk about storage. Memory is much much more commonly used to refer to RAM
Oof. I hate that too and yet I goofed. My bad.

Is this dead or website getting hammered. I'm went through the whole process and during checkout I was getting an error about can't complete transaction at this time. Try again later. Whenever I try to get to my account and start over, same thing. Clicking any where on there website is throwing up this error at this point.

Got this phone the last time this deal was up. It's a solid mid-range phone.

I found I don't care for the curved screen or how narrow the phone is.
I wish phones would go back to sensible 16:9 ratio screens.
One of the first taller phones was the LG G6, which had an 18:9 (2:!) screen which actually made sense as it was one of the first to be able to open 2 apps at once, and they even had some cool camera features using two square halves of the screen.
Then samsung and apple came along with their nonsensical arbitrary screens and everything has been a mess since.

I would love to jump on this deal if it wasn't for the ID Upload verification, going to wait for a better deal that should come by the time Edge 2025 happens. My concern is that with ID upload, you are giving a 3rd party verification company numbers such as a Drivers ID numbers along with the drivers license that they don't really need. If it was just my name, address, and picture, that'd be one thing (I'd already be giving that to Total Wireless). A drivers license number/SSN is something you give to postpaid cell service providers in order to help uniquely identify customers, evaluate their credit trustworthiness, and stop fraud. I'm just hesitant to give images of sensitive identification to a 3rd party and just say "I hope that they encrypt it and destroy it right after and don't hold onto it for something malicious". A better way to stop fraud would be to just use shipping addresses as unique identifiers, but I guess people use PO boxes to get around that.

Can, and SHOULD be disabled. You never want to use storage as ram, it's just a bad idea all around and will slow down your phone.

Can someone help me.

Bought number from numberbarn. Now feeding the number in TW says a text is sent to that number. How do you get the message? Or how do you port?

Strange. In my case, the first time it didn't ask for my identity. Second time I submitted it and passed.
