Pizza freak here. I bought a nice one couple yrs ago ...... I rarely use it, instead I always grab one of the wheels I got from sams. Don't get me wrong the knife works really well but the wheels are just more convenient.
Surprised to find on Amz for $7[amazon.com], with double wrap-around grips and non-stick edge strips.
The razzle-dazzle of slicing 8 pieces in 3 seconds has always made me want one of these. But had to mostly quit making pizza due to 'waistline increase' lol. Pizza = Crack

Your fellow pizza freak appreciates your feedback. Pizza cutting wheel stays.
Dang was about to pull the trigger for the price, but the pizza wheel sitting in my drawer and the above comment put me on the fence if it would just take up space.

For cleaning, too?
Neanderthal here. I've been using a chef's knife. Slower, but I'm feeding two, not a Costco warehouse.

Ya the wheels are easy to clean and I have no problem just tossing one in the sink. The knife is really sharp and I feel that I have to wash, dry & put the blade cover on before I get to eat.
Chefs knives work great also but once again I would wash it when done

I have a commercial all stainless one of these. Very easy to clean because the handle is the same piece of stainless. I use it but sometimes a long knife like a chef or butcher knife works better to cut through the toppings first.
Why would someone want one of these? Seriously - the only reason I can think of is that they think they are impressing someone when they use it. It's more inconvenient than a wheel, it takes up more room and it's not any faster.

I am a big fat pizza slut, I make a homemade pizza once a week or so especially during football season. I just use a chef's knife it takes 10 seconds lol

I have an all stainless steel one of these (one piece all the way through to the handles) which I can stick in the dishwasher. I keep mine sharp and love these things and they're easier to use than my pizza scissors which can get difficult when there's toppings involved. I have a larger fam with lots of growing kids so the rocker makes cutting 3 pies a cinch. I also use mine to cut multiple quesadillas at a time and things like that.

I have a longer version of this and it's more convenient than a wheel to slice large pizzas. Also it doesn't take up more room to store, I just stand it up in my cabinet.
