This "little" 1/2" drive Dewalt impact DCF921B packs a big punch. Lowest price I have ever seen it selling for. This model has a hog ring to hold the socket as opposed to the pin type anvil. I find the hog ring makes it much quicker and easier when removing the socket. I work on cars and I'm hear to tell you the tools works great!

I have the 3/8" version of this and love it. VERY compact yet powerful for a lower torque range impact, good price. Should be able to handle lug nuts on most cars, and most nuts found on a car (maybe not the handful of massive nuts deep in engine/transmission, but if you're that deep, you better know what you're doing and already have the special tools). Great compact impact, great price. I'm questioning if I need a 1/2" version too.

The seller Tool Liquidator LLC is slow at shipping it seems, I am still waiting on a DeWALT deal I ordered at the end of Feb, shipping window they provided was missed and pushed out 2 additional weeks.

My experience also with this seller. Ordered a polisher 1month ago and it still has not shipped, even now 1week after the delivery promise window.
I picked up this impact last week fro $140 and paid $7 than Tool Liquidator to purchase from ToolUSA instead of Tool Liquidators and it came in 5days as promised. YMMV

No, there is another lesser type which only has 250 pounds (911). This is the highest output of the "low-end" compact impact wrenches. To get to the 600 lb range you need to jump up to the "mid-range" ones (891) which have big silver heads on them and cost in the $250-$300 range. So this is one of the lightest most compact impact guns Dewalt makes. Think of it as "Upper lower class" whereas the 911 is a "lower lower class" at only 250 pounds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu1VGp-HSZs
Just because it's in the Atomic line doesn't mean it's weak. Atomic design is meant to be ultra-compact and easier to handle in tight spaces or in general. Despite being ultra-compact, the DCF921B has 450 ft-lbs of breakout torque & 300 ft-lbs of fastening torque. It packs a punch. That's as good as many much chonkier mid-torque wrenches. https://www.protoolreviews.com/de...ch-review/

Are the 921 and 923 the same? Is the 923 the replacement for the 921?
