I'm analyzing this & I think a great price for this would be about $15-$20. Hope any of these devices go to that price soon. Don't think its worth it for $30, unless ppl have experience on it.

This HOTO pump is designed for portability—small and light enough to fit in a cycle jersey pocket. The one you linked is probably 4x heavier and more suited for the garage or the trunk of your car.

I kinda laughed when I saw this, but 4.6 stars on 100+ reviews.

Tempted.

I've bought dumber things for more money...

I can see it breaking. I think I'll do the $5 Asurion, which works since it's over $40 when I add it, even though it's $30 in the cart.
I've had multiple portable compressors die on me, in the past, so I think this is a good gamble.
I don't know how well the OP one works.

But I bought this one in June 2022 and it still works (which is like 20 years in chinese garbage time). Best chinese garbage I ever bought. Makes filling bike tires before going on a ride a breeze. Filled 4 bikes from 20 psi to 60 psi before it was down to 1 bar of battery. The extra nozzles even came in handy for filling a winter snow tube.

Only annoying part is with the screw-on hose adapter you have to hold it or it becomes unscrewed and leaks. You can also just twist the hose as you put it on so the screw stays under tension (hose is twisted).

these get insanely hot, too hot to hold, and the temperature is bad for the battery. i had one and it lasted ~ 20 uses before totally dying.

a replaceable cell would be a better design for one of these. do not rely on them for emergencies. they may be useful for regular top ups, but I recommend using the larger ones made for cars, since they have better heat dissipation

I did the $5 Asurion coverage too. $35 with a 2 year warranty, seems like a good deal to me.

I love the complaint "it's too heavy, i would never take it on a ride". If you are a real weight weenie, you would have read the specs and knew what you were getting. Duh...
Just got mine—yeah, it's pretty hefty compared to my CYCPLUS Tiny Pump, which weighs nearly half as much. Even at $30, it takes up too much room in my water bottle emergency kit. Might work for my heavy eBike, but not for my light 18lb road bike.

Built-in battery = e-waste sooner rather than later.

I will stick with a hand pump, save the 🌎 !
