The price is okay since a 3080 alone is $400-450ish still. I know building a computer vs having one complete is always a hot topic, but this really should have a case swap with how poorly made it is.
I'd buy one if it was in the $700 range knowing how good the 3080 still is, but a little high for me personally.
I still use the PC today.

As far as future upgrades compatible with that socket, you're basically at the pinnacle of what that motherboard supports.

The 12th, 13th, and 14th gen were all supported by one chipset.
AMD only hangs on a year or two longer. And in that time, you lose out on updated features.
