Searching SD for q20i shows nothing but this price for the last year. Varying reception/popularity
Hi-Res is higher quality than Lossless Music (44kHz). Decent default EQ. These are bass heavy and Mids and Highs do get drowned out. EQ can be adjusted to personal liking.
The fact they come with 3.5mm cable which allows for Hi-Res streaming , are $30, male these worth it. I was looking at the Beats Studio 3 simple because they came with a 3.5mm cable allowing for Hi-Res streaming.
Apple Airpod Max at $500 cant even stream Hi-Res audio like these Q20i.
Alternatively, for the same price or less one can get IEM's (In Ear Monitors) that offer superior sound. IEMs like Moondrop 2, Wan'er SG for $20 or less on Amazon.
Compared to my older BoseQC45. (I know way different price point).
Feel: ear cup cushion is firmer and less plush and feels like $40. Not too tight on my kid's head. Battery life was great. Only used with 1 device so can't speak to multi device
Sound: def use the app to change the equalizer. Sounded very "numb" with defaults. Switching ANC is easy and the "sound" announcing mode switches is "pleasant", unlike robotic voice in QC45
App is easy enough to use.
If you need budget ANC headphones these are great at this price point

Essentially, these Q20i are $40 Hi-Resolution hardware capable of delivering hi bitrate audio which many $500 headphones cannot (Airport Max USB-C).
If Apple would have come out with a Beats Studio 3+ w/Hi-Res, these would be those headphones. Beats Studio 3 came with 3.5mm cable making Lossless playback possible.
The Q20i w/Hi-Res come with a 3.5mm cable making Hi-Resolution playback possible.
Think of these as the Beats Studio 3+.
If one is looking to capture all the musical goodness of fingers sliding along a guitar neck, being able to pick up within the song the exact moment an amplifier was activated by the musician, the raw amplifier interference packed into a Hi-Resolution file when listening to the strings in a song like "Maggot Brain" and not have any of that lost or dampened out because of the limited delivery capability of your headphones, the are one of the headphones one should consider.
If other stuff is your consumer aim, the may not rank at the top of your list.
But $40 for headphones the masses would pay $400 for if it's logo were a piece of fruit 🍎.
Great technology in the ones you mentioned as well but for 2 $20 dollar bills. I'll take one. 😉
