Flash memory isn't reliable enough to be used for hardened backups.

It's better than not having a backup at all, but you really should be using mechanical drives instead.

And remember, a backup isn't a backup unless it has a backup, so get some redundancy going.

They will price match. Should be able to do that online.

Seems like a great price if you can support 2x2 and magsafe. Otherwise, a regular enclosure is more versatile.

Question: Will the phone or computer's HDD be damaged if it is placed close to the magnetic set?

Connect it to each phone one by one and copy them to the drive?

Is this a really good deal or just okay? Been wanting an SSD like this to transfer between iPhone and Mac, and also additional storage for Macbook. But can wait for a better deal if needed

Why would you do that? Costco price matches their own prices for 30 days from date of purchase -no questions asked.

It's not the fastest drive out there, but the price for 1TB is very low compared to inflation.

If it could be shucked, it would make an okay drive for a Raspberry Pi or maybe even the Steam Deck if it's as small as I think it is.
