Not at all related. This is for gaming and has a better sensor and aggressive-ish shape. The MX Master has a more relaxed shape and worse sensor but better productivity features. For example, the scroll on this is notchy and loud (but feels super accurate) while the scroll on the MX 3s is smooth and quiet but not as tactile.

Beware you'll need fairly wide hands for this one. Imo it's a lot better than the G305 for larger hands (claw-only) and feels more premium too.

This is a great mouse, but my battery life is definitely crap after a couple of years of moderate use. The battery is not easily replaceable either, unfortunately. Thinking of grabbing another one just to have once this one only lasts a couple of hours.

Goodwill would be good for this. Lowkey you could make some serious money picking these up and reselling them on eBay. This is a highly desirable mouse that is BiS for pincer claw grip users.

will be double-clicking within 6 months. i can only buy optical sensor mice now because logitechs are so disappointing. 602, 502, multiple of each and all died within one year

With a little soldering skills, you can replace the switches fairly easily

FYI - I ordered this from Best Buy on 3/27. I got shipping confirmation that same day saying it's expected to arrive on 3/31.

On 3/28 I got an email from them saying UPS couldn't deliver it so they are returning it.

UPS site says :03/28/2025
6:21 A.M.Returning to Sender
As requested by the sender, the package is being returned. Contact the sender for additional information. / The sender requested that we return this package.

So I'm not sure what happened here. BB seems to say UPS couldn't get it to me (which is false because it never even got in my home city) and UPS says BB asked for it to be returned.

Either way, it's OOS now and I'm out a mouse.
