Should say no store bought jerky/'beef' stick ever. They are what they are. Not a big fan of the turkey ones, but the beef ones are pretty good. I like putting them in a piece of celery and eating as a combo. Better than easy cheese, and 'healthier' than pairing a meat stick with a cheese stick. No judgement though. I still enjoy the occasional unhealthy college staples as a middle aged man.
"Most protein bars" are not 2/3 fat.
First hit on Google shows "barebells" bars 20g protein, 7g fat, 200 calories (80kcal protein, 63kcal fat)
Going down the list on Google pretty much every bar has ~20g protein (making up half the composition of the bar)
Vs these being… 1/4 of that protein content with more than double the grease to protein ratio?
Stop making stuff up.

It's like you either misread my entire comment, or are purposely ignoring what it actually said to make a straw man.
I never said protein was 10 calories per gram, I specifically said the general rule of thumb is to look for a protein snack that is 10 calories or less per gram of protein, i.e. barebells average that, average bar is around 200 calories for 20 grams, so they average around 10 calories per gram of protein in the bar, these turkey sticks average 11.6, making it a high protein source for a snack.
Strawman arguments don't look good.
the only one making things up here, is you.
