You should see the new Snow White movie 🤣

Snow White: "I don't need no man. Get lost"

Prince Charming: "Don't flatter yourself Snowflake. I'm here for your step mom."
The best TLDR for a movie I've ever read for a while. ROTFL

BTW, does anyone know if this Mad Max movie is compatible with MovieAnywhere?

It comes up if you filter for only MA titles, so I'd think it does.

Personally thought this was an OK movie, but it suffers from the same post-pandemic movie making that thinks non-stop OTT action makes up for a decent plot.

Not sure if it's mentioned in the OP, but this is a MA compatible movie.

Is this the only way to see the B&C version of Furiosa? I was looking for that version on disc, but I don't see it. Is that going to be a future release on disc, or is this it?

I see that Fury Road has it on disc, but only in Blu Ray, not 4k? And it does not come with digital codes?

If one wanted a complete "set" of versions of these films, it feels kind of confusing.

(fwiw I think a B&C version of Furiosa defeats the purpose a bit, where the colors are vividly hyperreal, but I'm curious just the same)

Lot of folks here enjoyed the movie. But I'm in the minority (amongst folks in this thread). I didn't enjoy it much; at least compared to the first movie. I was expecting it to be better given the rave reviews. But while watching the movie I kept thinking — 'I can absolutely see why this movie flopped'. It was a somewhat tedious watch. The fights weren't that thrilling and CGI looked sub-par given the budget. The movie pacing also felt a bit jarring to me, though I know that's expected of this franchise.

Then there is the fact that this was a prequel. A good prequel needs to be 'self-aware', in the sense they need acknowledge the fact that audiences have already seen the sequel. Prequels are already hamstrung cause they have to contend with the issue of stakes being low (cause main protagonist's outcome is known). But they can work if the story adds sufficient context to future events or add to the world-building. Unfortunately this movie, in my opinion, did nothing of that. If one hasn't seen Fury Road, and sees this movie first; and only then watches Fury Road, they might hold up better. But having seen Fury Road this prequel felt like just an episode in the character's life. Not really worth watching if you are not already a fan of the series.

I thought that picture was of Jack Sparrow and Aquaman.

Shucks.

Bro I love mad max, I've seen all the movies like 10 times, I've seen this like 10 times, but Furiosa just isn't that great a film. It has tons of bad CGI and bad acting and bad replacement for Joe and tons of other issues.

Is it a bad film? No.

Is it a bad mad max movie? Kinda

Should you watch it if you like postapocalyptic stuff or mad max or movies in general? Yes.

Enjoyable movie, definitely, but it's missing the magic that made the first one legendary. IMO.
Its because you already know how it ends. You know she's going to live so it doesn't matter what happens to her or the other characters that were present in fury road.
Furiosa should have been a side character just like mad max was a side character on fury road.

"Deserved"? Furiosa bombed at the box office and was selling for $5 just a few months later for a Reason.

Anya-Taylor Joy in a Mad Max movie? Just no....
Nothing exciting about her

I went ahead and bought the regular 4k version and the black and chrome 4k. I figure getting both versions digitally for $10 is better than paying $10+ for physical and digital versions of just the regular movie.

Absolute must buy at this price. This is such a good movie, it is NOT girlboss slop and could have easily come from the 90s instead of today's "modern audience" "writers".

picked it up since i need all movies in franchise. this is definitely a girl boss movie. not as good as fury road. hopefully the mary sue age will end soon
