No turbo mode in deluxe + Vergil and no legendary dark knight or ray tracing option. Just get the special edition it's worth it.

I don't remember that, but I guess he must have been, somewhat, then, too.
It seems like it got really over the top, later, like when you first encounter the grim reapers in DMC3, and even they are being cocky.

It seems like it got really over the top, later, like when you first encounter the grim reapers in DMC3, and even they are being cocky.
He's slightly less obnoxious in DMC5, which I think was a conscious choice to show him having "mellowed" as he ages.
Not even in the top 3 games in the series.
DMC3 > DMC1 > DMC4 > DMC5 > DmC > DMC2
