It seems like we're getting a ton of Costway postings. Check out yitahome for identical price on this AUX mini split. It is the "Yitahome" brand there. The costway, Yitahome, and Turbro brands are made by AUX and private labeled. The difference is no coupon code needed and maybe no sales tax charged for your state. It would save another $70 for me. https://www.yitahome.com/products...fYH4QcdSsW

Sorry to ask since I know someone always has to but what is the difference between these and the "self install kits"? Can I self install this without anything extra needed except mounting it and electrical?

you need a vacuum pump and some other tools, but this has all the parts

Do they come with the same "installation kit" that I see advertised with others? I am afraid of getting the wrong one and a lot of posts seem to be missing the "DUY/self install" kit that seems to add $600. So if it adds $600 on average and these don't seem to be adding $600 of stuff, it makes me feel like something is missing. Am I correct?

Any of these "kit" is missing the electrical parts (breaker, outdoor disconnect box, wires from your electrical panel, etc) you will also need to pull a vacuum on both lines, you might have to cut and reflare. These lines will need a cover kit and the drain pipe might not be long enough.

I'd highly recommend do your research and buy all the tools that needed. This is not an easy nor moderate level of DIY because of safety and labor involved. If you are good with tools and qualified to work with electrical components, it would be doable but still time consuming. Once you've successfully installed one of this "diy" kit, you might could start a side hustle. Good luck

Be careful with these line sets. They will weld two flared copper ends to an aluminum line then cover the aluminum length with tape and insulation to hide it.

Is it possible to mount this on an interior wall and run a short bit of ducting to the compressor?
