It's ad free. Starz currently doesn't have an ad supported tier. It pretty magical. Got a year for $28 over the holidays, has been 100% worth it for the movie selection alone.

It's ad free, got the same deal thru Hulu for Black Friday so I watch it more than I watch Hulu. Plenty of movies & old tv shows are available on it. I like the old westerns they have like Maverick & the Virginian.
