I've had my eye on this for a while at HD, but the price never moves. I came across this, and I couldn't pass it up. I get it, it's not going to have the LSA but, I'm willing to chance it for the next 3 years.

You can register for the LSA with direct tools. Just an FYI. Done it multiple times without issue

You can for factory blemished tools (like OP's deal). For the refurbs they sell, you cannot.

Suggest adding
"factory blemished" to the OP

As mentioned, this is important for the warranty

These pruners ae fantastic. Got them as a gift about 6 months ago and didn't think I'd use them much. WRONG! I just finished pruning a hedge including many branches 3/4" thick and had no problems.

These things are fantastic. I have used them a lot more than I thought I would.
Easy to get into small areas and cut thick branches with ease. With a 2ah battery they are not that heavy and easier on your hand than squeezing hand size and full size pruners.

I will have one word of caution. They are so quick and nimble that you could easily take a finger or two off your opposite hand.

Chiming in like others above. Have this, it's great. Lots of power.

Be VERY careful with it. Anytime you don't absolutely need your other hand involved, put it behind your back or something.

This was $120-$125 couple of times in the last month. I bought one about 2 weeks ago for $120.

With Spring around the corner, I dont see these going much lower with a battery included.

From where? Would love to get this for $120 especially if it was brand new non blemished from Home Depot! Don't need the battery so even bare tool would be nice.

Bought the blemish from Direct Tools. Blemished Ridgid tools have the Lifetime if register within 90 days. I purchased more than 10 blemished tools from them and all looks as good as new. Beside, some new tools I purchased from Home Depot came in plain brown boxes (Ridgid cordless router, drill set, and batteries).

Are parts available to replace the blade once worn?
