Beach Camera is a top seller and definitely legit. Quick searches on Reddit show many happy customers for major electronics purchase.
My mom has been in the market for a mid-priced tv and this deal gives her access to a higher end model. She got the 4-year additional Allstate warranty for less than $100 also for peace of mind.
Agree. 1k is an excellent deal on a very good TV.

Have 1, getting a 2nd for sun room

BuyDig and BeachCamera are the same sellers. I've bought Sony OLED TVs from them in the past through eBay and was very satisfied. I believe they primarily sell the C version of TVs, which are sold by Costco. The prices are very low. I even contacted the seller directly, but they couldn't match or lower the price. As when I bought directly from them before, they lowered the price for me. I think Walmart is having a promotion, which is why the prices are lower now. Definitely ordering this, and, get the 5-year plan, which is only $109.
For those who are unsure between Samsung and LG, Sony is Sony. They are a premium brand, so their TVs will sell at a premium price. Yes, their hardware is certainly better than the others.

I've been thinking about getting this but the lack of interest in the deal from others makes me wonder if this isn't a good deal. I can get a LG C4 for 200 more or Samsung S90D refurbished for same price or can go for a non oled panel. I'm planning to use it in a brightly lit Florida living room (no direct sunlight), so I've eliminated Samsung as apparently WOLED is better than QD-OLED in bright rooms. C4 Doesn't seem to be that good. The one issue I see is that the Sony has only 1000 nits of brightness while Samsung and LG both have 1200 nits and after looking at some TVs in the store I feel like brightness is pretty important. What do you guys think?

Need a nice 55" upper end OLED. Tried searching WM but didn't have any…

Does anyone have any suggestions on a deal? Also, where does everyone see prices going on last year models. Seems like they haven't come down much.

I'm also looking to buy for bright living room. This is a decent deal. Other options I'm looking at:

Hisense U8N in 83in as 75in isn't as good (rting based) TCL QM 8 IN 75in, COSTCO 77in LG B4 if it hits around $1100 locally

Brightness level clear winners are Hisense, TCL. Picture quality is Sony's calling card due to better processing n likelyhood of better firmware updates. Personal preference as to a better "smart OS"

The price ranges is wide I know but looking to stay around $1100 plus tax.

Also looking in best buy open box as options.

I'm driving myself crazy between Bravia 8 77" and LG B4 83". The B4 in 83" has all the specs of a C4 for some reason. "The sleeper B4"

Have a 55" LG B9 from 2020. Worth upgrading to this? Sit about 9 feet away from the TV, not a ton of movies, mainly sports and cable.

Has anyone recieved one of these from Walmart and if so could they describe exactly what they received. In other words, does it look and operate as though it's brand new and hardly or ever used, etc.

I received mine yesterday and set it up. It had been reboxed in the original box, but the front was facing the opposite direction from what the box said. Other than the serial number scratched out, it looks brand new. It's big for my tiny living room, but I'll adapt. Upgraded from 10+ year old 40" Samsung. Now I need to upgrade my HDMI cables to support 4k. Thanks OP!

This shows up as $1099.... is there something we have to do to get it down to 999?

It will be a bit brighter but I doubt you will tell much of a difference other than that.

The price is fluctuating across the board at all stores for both new and refurbished Bravia 8 OLEDs. Costco's new one went up $100 and Buydig increased their refurb price. This may mean the inventory is decreasing.
