I've been monitoring the price drop of these TVs for years. You'll get the best price in May. After that there is a chance that they sell out completely. If you can wait till May, you'll do better.
The warranty above covers accidental and burn in. I don't think lg covers that.
Greentoe and buy dig are offering warranty through CPS. I know many people that have had nightmares dealing with them. They do not even advertise burn in coverage on their own website. They also do not provide any language on what their warranty covers, where other places like Best Buy provide you details on what's covered and what's not. I have personally dealt with CPS and it's been a nightmare. I can answer any questions about how terrible CPS is.

I don't doubt that CPS is terrible and their reviews are deserved but TBF at these prices with the gift card subtracted you are almost getting the warranty 'for free' with your purchase. For instance GT now (current best deal) is offering the 65 C4 for $1199. Now that is tax free but it is almost to the dollar what this deal is after the GC. So if you prefer the questionable warranty over tax included and no added warranty then you can do that. Both are good options.
Me I'd prob use my freedom card and hope 2 years is enough protection at that relatively modest price point but others may feel better with additional protection, such that it is, so this deal is for them. BD is just casting a wide net. Same with vendors like vid only that throw in warranties but who knows how good they are.
If you want to buy elsewhere like BB (w added warranty) or Costco where you are likely to be well taken care of you can do that too but it will cost (significantly) more.
You never really know how good the almost throw in level warranties are and they have a range of experiences from folks getting what they want to ongoing nightmarish battles, like you seem to be embroiled in. You have my sympathies with that but others may still figure it is better than nothing for essentially free. It's about what it is worth, haha.

77" LG OLED77C4PUA evo C4 4K Smart OLED TV + $200 Visa GC + 4-Year Warranty $2,695.99
65" LG OLED65G4SUB G4 OLED evo 4K Smart TV + $200 Visa Gift Card & 4-Year Warranty $1,996.99
83" LG OLED83C4PUA C4 OLED 4K Smart OLED TV + $300 Visa Gift Card $3,596.99
UGH. I spent all night last night and 2-3 hours today debating the C4 or G4 and now it jumped $100. Think chat will match yesterday's deal or should I just go make an offer at GT?

How much lower do they go? I was seeing about 1599 was the lowest actually available for a few hours. There was a G3 marked down last year to like $1100 and it evaporated in 10-15 minutes.
If I can get GT to agree to 1699-1749 no tax, I'm game. With taxes from BD yesterday, this was effectively $1811
I saw 1700 was where a lot of the G3s bottomed out. For now, I'll pass the time going to Best Buy tomorrow and look for an open box (or just compare the C4/G4 and see if it's worth the extra $500. But delivery adds to the $$ since I don't have a big enough car, so online is ideal with delivery to the house

i bought the 65-inch C4 last weekend from my local Best Buy outlet store for $990 because it was an open box and missing the stand. The TV was brand new as it still had the cellophane on the screen. I currently own a 55 in B6P and a 55 in CX so its just a 4 year tech upgrade for me and a 10 bigger screen. The warranty is not worth buying on an open box item from Best Buy because they will not replace the TV if it craps out.

I didn't know there is no open box GS protection replacement. Good to know!
