Cool, first time seeing an ips monitor with a glossy screen.
So the Amazon listing says it's glossy, but this site says it's matte so I'm going to remove the mention.
Attached a screenshot of Amazon though. https://www.displayspecifications...l/5ed43c1c
I bought this and returned it within 4 days. The issue I discovered is that the monitor has no flicker free tech ology of any kind. Nothing... It would give me a headache within 2-3 hours of using the thing

Interesting...the product description on Amazon says "this monitor features flicker-less technology for a comfortable viewing experience."
I bought it, I bought the 240hz version before this one and just returned it. I can say the 300Hz screen is just better its great honestly and I found the 240Hz when in HDR it looked grainy I got a 6700XT but this screen was better. I know OLED is better but I am good for $240! It's a big upgrade for me and I love it personally.
I bought this as well but haven't plugged my PS5 into it but the Acer website has a photo that for PS5, it only supports 1080p 120hz and not 1440p 120hz? I thought HDMI 2.1 allows 1440p 120hz?

PS5 allowed 1440p @ 120Hz via firmware update, it originally wqs 1080p & 4K @ 120Hz only. That screenshot maybe before that update.
PS5 has a known bug with VRR though with some titles that appear could be update via firmware as well on Sony's end.
300hz 1440 and a name brand for a little over $200 is a great deal.
These monitors are nothing special and have no USB ports at all, only the DisplayPort and HDMI ports.
If you do literally any kind of content creation that connects a webcam and key lights, you'll be happy you had at least 1 USB port on a monitor. HDMI 2.1 and/or USB Ports on monitor is might sign that it's a modern, good monitor, otherwise it's a bit old and cheap.

This is for gaming. 300 fps at 1440p is pretty intense so it will do great for that. If you're doing content creation and visual stuff go get something made for that.
