I have one of these, got it during Black Friday a few years back. The surface area is nice, especially if you're making French toast but keep in mind that most stoves have a circular heat ring. I have an electric range and even on the largest ring, the corners of the pan don't heat as they do in the center. I find myself rearranging the pan just to cook whatever part is at the edge. Also due to the uneven heat distribution, there is warping. I don't regret buying it at $6 but I wouldn't buy it again

Bought one around a year ago. It is very warped now. Just used it to warm up tortillas.
