This is an eyebrow-raising price for a last-gen smart watch. I love Garmin and have been patiently waiting to upgrade my fenix 6, but I can't imagine shelling out more than $400 for a fenix 7 Pro.

Got my first Garmin Fenix from BuyDig, a refurbished Sapphire 3HR. Worked great and sold it after about 3 years and upgraded to a 5X Sapphire refurb. Neither watch cost more than $400. I too am looking for that sub $400 Fenix 7. But it's got to be a Sapphire and it's got to be a 7X or 7X Pro.

Not only that, but Garmin just recently announced their plans to implement a paid subscription service Garmin Connect+. We all know what happens when a paid tier system is introduced to a once free software. No thanks.

I WAS in the market for my next Garmin watch but this news put an end to that real quick.

same here...

if there will be a paid tier system for the sw, I wouldn't buy anything from them with their current msrp prices... Those prices have to drop down by A LOT!
