This fancy toaster has overall good ratings, but it's pretty new so it doesn't have quite as many total ratings as I'd like yet.

Previous lowest price was ~$64 according to CCC.

"my toaster crashed during the monthly security update, entered a boot loop, and burned my house down"

This could actually be a fun idea if not done terribly, but you're introducing like 5x more ways the toaster can fail for not a ton of benefits. If you want it, and it works, then buy it, but in my eyes this ain't it. I guess it can tell you how much time is left on the cycle, that would be kinda nice. Why don't all toasters do that? This post is really making me think about the basically zero innovation that goes into toasters. I just want a toaster that has a temp knob, a time knob, and a lil display that shows time left, does that already exist? I guess toaster ovens do that. I'm gonna stop talking now.

Wow thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I totally agree with your overall points!

There's definitely something to be said for KISS in a lot of realms, especially ones like this!
