Sure, but you can't find them close to retail right now. AMD finally has a decent product but in their infinite wisdom, they're underproducing their cards or they and their board partners are inflating their prices. Rather than trying to gain market share, they're being stupid yet again.
Also I'd say that the 9070 and 5070 are actually pretty even. I'd take DLSS over FSR any day of the week because it's more widely supported.

There are more things to gamble with Nvidia this generation. Hardware unboxed reviewed the AMD 9070 and 9070xt vs Nvidia 50 series, and as of this point in time, AMD to our surprise has more stable drivers and hardware. Other reviewers have similar opinions.
The real gamble is 12GB VRAM. It's barely enough for minimum ray tracing right now, and as more games implement it in the future, will it cause stutter and or reduced visual fidelity? There are already examples in some games.
If it's straight up 9070 vs 5070, go for the 9070.
Nah. 12gb is absolutely fine for this card. This is strictly a 1080p card at full resolution. At 1440p, you're gonna absolutely turn on upscaling and possibly frame gen, which takes a lot less VRAM. 16gb of ram on these cards are an unneeded expense and absolute overkill.
I like the 9070 XT, but I'd absolutely take the 5070 over the vanilla 9070 any day of the week. DLSS is still the most widely supported upscale tech.

It's really a toss up... I think overall, Is take the DLSS4 transformer model here over an extra 4GB VRAM. If the 9070 were $50 cheaper, I'd take it over the 5070...

That's from February. There are many reports about the newest drivers also causing many issues.
I haven't had problems with my nvidia card and drivers but many people are having major problems in the last few months.
