Interesting laptop

The iGPU is between a 4060 & 4070

It appear to use the system memory for the iGPU's ram

I don't think it's a good discount BUT this is obviously a WORKSTATION PC and half the price went into the RAM

These are going to be costly. But the sheer amount of performance it packs, make it versatile for hundreds of use cases The CPU Performance is even better than Core i9 14900Hx, you see in super heavy gaming laptops and the gpu performance can reach a RTX 4070 in gaming. On top of that, due to unified 128GB memory, you can run a lot of AI and machine learning stuffs on this. Just consider this as M4 max equivalent macbook pro and see how much that cost with similar spec.

Looks interesting, but I'd be somewhat concerned about the ~256GB/s memory bandwidth. Comparing to other offerings in that segment ($4k to $5k, ~100-ish GB available to GPUs), it's got less bandwidth than the NVIDIA DGX Spark at 273GB/s and considerably less than the Apple M4 Max at 546GB/s. I look forward to seeing it benchmarked.

There are benchmarks available. Check the reviews of Asus Rog Flow Z13 2024 model. By the way, Strix Halo has 273 GBps memory bandwidth when paired with 8533 lpddr5x ram, like on this one.
