Wifi 7 is very new and a lot of companies are working through compatibility issues. That's the price of being on the cutting edge. But firmware updates are coming fast. Asus was releasing a new firmware every 2 weeks for this router. They are definitely working hard on it.

That said, a new firmware update was released just a couple of days ago. I'll go through the full reset and setup process again and report back with my results.

I also suspect the router shipped with an under spec power supply, so it might be worth trying one that handles slightly more milliamps.
It should be getting third party firmware support at some point, which will probably resolve some issues as well.
