Eufy also refused to design in a buffer to give you even 5 seconds of recording to show what the camera detected to start the alarm notification and video recording.
The cameras that are plugged in (mostly indoor) have the 24/7 feature and buffer to show what triggered the alarm.

I have 8 Eufy cameras (C210, E330, E340 (x3), E30, S220, 2k Video Doorbell) and a Home Base 3, only my Doorbell and the S220 solar cam do not record 24/7. All the others are plugged in/wired in cameras/flood lights.

Not sure why the 24x7 recording is not available. Am I missing some configuration?
For the E340, it must be connected to the Homebase, and then go to the camera settings.
Click on homebase connection (top left) and it has the the option to store only events or continuous recordings and events.

I have 4 of the 2C Pros connected to the S380 Homebse 3, and they work well. The 2C Pro is 2K, versus the 3C being 4K. I don't have any 3Cs, but if I was buying now, I'd likely get the 3Cs for the additional resolution. Looks like the spotlight might be more substantial on the 3C, but that's just speculation on my part.
My personal opinion is if that 2C is serving you well, I wouldn't replace it. One of my four 2C Pros depletes the battery very quickly, and shows an absurd amount of detection events in a very quiet location on my front porch - I tried lowering the sensitivity and defining a detection zone, but that didn't seem to help - thankfully it's not recording or notifying on the detection events, only on the human detections, but I suspect it's defective, and depletes the battery in a month versus the three month average on the other 2C Pro cams.

My app version is 5.0.32_6967(US) and camera also says that firmware is up to date.
