7.5W wireless charging. Just FYI.

I'd suggest reading through the reviews on Costco before getting this. Low capacity, and some complain about it overheating their phone. May be due to it being Qi (and not Qi2 which has better heat management).

7.5w is actually better if you care about temperature

Was about to add the same. I have same issue while charging phone while in the case and hence have used it only a limited number of times. I do have another one from myCharge and that's a million times better (non wireless charging). I would not recommend anyone buying this unless they real need a quick charge in a pinch

Dodged that one, ty SD for always looking out! 💪💪💪I got jipped from buying a woot humidifier (it was brand name too!) $20 paperweight (it died on me right outside return window)
This isn't relevant to the deal, but might be worth knowing. 'Gypped' is a racial slur about the Romani people. Blew my mind when I learned about it.

Same here. Gets super hot and make weird noises after using it for 10+ times. About to return them to Costco.

I think you have a good mind on you but I think you're just incidentally 100% wrong. Simply put, by charging slower you are financing the heat. The max temperature is lower the entire time and it goes longer. Going longer is less of a problem than having a higher top heat.I think you suspect there is a overhead of heat that is added when one charges slow. but I don't think there is. Another ninja tidbit of throw into everyone is that a few fast charge your phone while using the high CPU application or a bright screen your phone is getting very hot compared to normal. When my brain gets picky I will do software updates without plugging it in because it doesn't need to go through all the processes and charge at the same time.
You are not alone my friend. I throw my phone in the fridge for large software updates or updating lots of apps all at once (I had auto update turned off).

I've heard people say gypped is a racial slur. It's not. That's like saying 'Friend, dont go to 17th and E street or the mafia might kill you' is a slur against Italians. Not all mafia members are murderers. Not all Italian people or mafia members. Traveling and Swindling is deeply inseperatable from certain Romani ethnic clans. It is not racist to warn against gypsies.
Everything anyone has learned in high school or college over the last 15 years was made up 16 years ago. Words are being redefined and replaced with completely different nonsense meanings.

Mind blown from my short googling! Lol... Another childhood word, discontinued I guess... (I grew up saying we-todd-it... it was, and kinda still is a FUNNY play on words, then everyone had to make it PC)...

Ohh, and where are we at with this master bedroom ordeal? (it really just never ends.... I'm of ethnicity and I feel it gets a litte absurd)

For what it's worth,

Fast charging causes more heat and puts slightly more stress on the battery chemistry, especially if used daily or in warm environments.

Slower charging (in this case, 7.5W) is generally better for long-term battery health; produces significantly less heat.

15W charging tends to make the phone noticeably warmer, especially if you're using a case or charging in a hot room. Heat is one of the biggest enemies of lithium-ion batteries.

That said: I hate waiting for my phone to charge, but I'll take 7.5 for this situation because fast charging makes it very hot

Bought this from costco at a higher price. The best thing about this is its small size and hence the convenience of taking around with you with ease. No regrets for me.

Thanks, in for 1 (2-pack). It was this price for a single one not too long ago.

Got it today, shipped from OEM Accessories Inc in Middletown, NY. Looked like the one at Costco in a sort-of cardboard blister pack.

In for 1 set! Hope it works well and doesn't burn up the phone or itself (battery pack).

Has anyone received and started using this? Recent reviews on the woot page claim it omits a clicking sound when charging? Thx.

I got mine, this power bank makes an electric noise during charge. Both of em do.

It gets the phone warm, but not really hot.
