They changed that. I am detailing the process I personally used to redeem this deal. I was worried too, but this redeems directly in Vudu, as I described.

is there a way to add the codes to the fandango movie app so they stay in there for use until depleted and i dont have to input codes every time i got to the movies?

In the browser add the gift card under the Payment Method menu option.

you can click on redeem points in your shopping cart, before placing the order. i wasn't expecting that either as usually point rewards for most sites are for future orders. clearly they have an odd website and business model that isn't straight forward. still good deal though

Swear to God it wasn't working before, now it lets me use the reward to get it to $19 each for five. I wish it had worked last night when the VUDU was having deals.

Just a note on using these $25 with VUDU. You can only have two GC stored at any time. There is also a limit of 4 GC add per day (sometimes requiring more than 24 hours to reset).

This is a very nice discount, but know the limitations. Though I haven't purchased anything over $50 for years, so you'll be fine as long as you don't use over $100 per day with these. Otherwise you'll need a bigger card added to your VUDU account.

Can confirm. I accidentally bought a Fandango gift card in December thinking it would work on Vudu/FAH. Unfortunately it didn't work at the time. However I just tried again and was able to add it to my Vudu account.

So this deal should be redeemable on Vudu/FAH and if anyone else has any Fandango gift cards laying around, they should be redeemable on Vudu now.

May I ask why? I tried using Fandango to buy movie tickets once and there was an additional $2 charge per ticket. Even with a 20% discount, it was cheaper to just buy them straight from the theater. Maybe fees vary by location, but unless they're offering some steep discount, I don't see any advantage to buying tickets though them.

If you have AMC STUBS plus Fandango rewards you make out pretty well. Especially if you buy tickets for other people and get paid back.
