Each device made needs UL submission, not just cells...there is no word on UL submissions for anything other than the server rack battery @ 100A. I asked about the new (yet to be released) 50A server rack, and it was a 'maybe'. Early May is what we've been told for the 100A, so a month away, and this 100A server rack will be EW first battery with UL listing.
Will this battery will get UL certification? Thinking of buying it now before tariff impact the price

There's no indication it will get UL listing. I think this is currently a very niche low volume product for EW, and they plan to move many more smaller units making them worth the UL listing fees.
A EG4 Gridboss unit should work to combine the systems, but since these are not UL listed per some of the comments here, you wont be able to use them legally in a permitted grid tie in system. Something you would have to double check on depending on your state and current configuration.
Do you have any advice for ul listed battery? Needs to be cheap tho 😕

What else do I need if I just need to power my fridge for a few days? Can someone please advise? Thank you.
you don't necessarily have to wire up an inverter. you could also just use a portable power station, if it is powerful enough to run your fridge. plug your fridge into the power station and run it off that, and then charge the power station via the dc/pv (solar) input hooked up to this large battery. depends on what sort of power station you get, but in the case of my ecoflow delta 3 plus, for example, you simply need an o-ring to xt60i cable (or a pair of them), such as this one:
the delta 3 plus has two 500w dc/solar (pv) inputs, for a maximum of 1000 watts. so, if you had a pair of these cables hooked up to the + and - terminals of your external eco-worthy battery, you should be able to feed the power station a consistent (500w + 500w) or 1000 watts, and keep it charged up by plugging the cables into the solar input.
if all you are running is a fridge, a single o-ring to xt60i should suffice, feeding your power station a consistent 500 watts. if you want to consistently run loads more than 500 watts, two cables would be necessary to keep your power station from being drained.
other power stations may use an mc4 to barrel connector or an anderson power pole connector for their solar input, instead of xt60 or xt60i. in that case, you would need an o-ring to mc4, or o-ring to anderson, etc. to charge the power station from the external battery, such as this eco-worthy.
Any chance this will be under $2000 in the future?
As others have mentioned you have the trump tariffs now. This will be on top of Biden tariff from last year. Then you have the second Biden Tariff hitting at the end of the year and that one adds 25% just to solar and lithium batteries.
I understand trying to check China's unfair trade practices but come on guys. You are making it awful hard to be independent of the power companies
Anyone can help, I bought the battery but they only shipped a set of cable. Tracking in ebay says it was delivered, tried to message them through ebay but no reply. Any phone number direct to them?Posted negative feedback and fighting to get my money back. Scammed. Buyer beware

For Cali, but would apply nationwide for UL listing. Search ESS and Batteries.

Not if you believe tariffs are staying
