That steam hardware survey gonna be swinging red slightly next month so nvidia is throwing crumbs with these craps 5070's suddenly in stock to keep the market share. They are sacrificing a tiny AI profit to keep the mind share. Don't give it to them greedy SOB's! 8 and 12 gb cards in 2025 is planned obsolescence in a very short period.

I'm surprised these are still in stock....I know its not an amazing product compared to everything else, but just a month ago demand for GPUs was so insanely high that everything was well over MSRP.

That's just the 5090s, no one really ever goes after the lower tier cards.

I doubt that. The majority of the cards on Steam survey are $400 below cards .

AMD already gained about 5% gpu market share from February to March after the RX 9000 series launch. They still only have about 17% market gpu share total on the hardware survey but it's an indicator things were swinging a way Nvidia doesn't like so that's why these cards start suddenly coming into stock. Nvidia throwing crumbs with crappy 12 gb cards in 2025 as people are all gaming or multitasking using dual monitors with higher resolutions more and more and these 12gb cards will soon be useless like the 8 gb cards already are. People paying $500+ and can't even load some games with mediocre settings because they are running out of VRAM. That's a terrible product but people are buying them anyway so they will keep selling em.

A $550 card "being good for 1080P or 1440P" in 2025 is pathetic. This was possible for the same or less money in 2018. This card and the whole generation is a pathetic showing that was designed to rip off desperate gamers. And this price a from a tier two manufacturer...
