I bought 2 set of tv with 1 account and 2 with another account. Using this as security cam displays and also displays for stocks. Its a no brainer 4k cheap large display. Just note that this is nothing high end so keep your expectations low on TV.

I wouldn't if I were you. I bought this same Amazon fire TV from woot last month and it came with no feet and no power cord. Got a partial refund, ordered some feet and a cord on Amazon. Then I realized that there was issues with the screen coming detached from the inside of the display, like it was some sort of fabric material that came unglued and was now wavy and distorted the image in several places. Plus the remote control that was sent separately wouldn't pair with the TV so I couldn't even get out of setup mode. Sent it back for a refund and got a 80% refund because it didn't account for the remote sent separately or something. L
Thanks....I "WAS" thinking of snagging for the Guest Room....Not worth the hassle.

I have the 55" version of this TV that I got during one of the Prime Day events. The TV was ok at first, but over a year later, it's pretty laggy. I'm not sure if it's from the updates, it gets too warm, etc, but it got to the point we put a Walmart Onn streaming box on one of the HDMI ports so we dont have to deal with the extreme lag the TV has. It only gets used 2 - 3 times a month when relative's kids come over and take over the basement. It also has a problem picking up a few local channels that ALL the other TVs in the house pick up fine (all using a shared attic antenna).

I thought so too, but the missing accessories and backlight failure after 3 years on the RTings link makes me strongly reconsider when you can get a brand new 43" for ~$140 from a place with easier returns.
Where are you getting those new 43" 4k tvs for $140?
Walmart etc the going rate seems to be ~$300-350 and maybe $270 for some of the lowest models last I checked. Also fairly confident that any of the low end models are going to have bad RTings reviews.

This is the perfect example of Amazon returns low end crap being pushed out through their WOOT subsidiary. I stopped buying anything from WOOT years ago once I got a few items that looked like they had been thrown away, and figured out that's what was going on.

Based on posts by others here, there is no 'refurbishing' or even visual inspection happening, just "Does it power up? Great! Ship it."

How does a set whose front panel is 'wavy' and 'separating' from the set conform to "A Certified Refurbished item is refurbished, tested, and certified to look and work like new" nonsense Amazon/WOOT post?

Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware).

I mean tell me where you can find a 43inch 4k tv for $99.99 or less. If they have issues I can return and exchange.

The key spec missing is storage. I bought a firetv tv and had only 8gb. That is base spec on the lowest end fire stick and don't forget this firetv has code to run a tuner making less available for apps. I don't have anything against the display, just the skimpy amount of ram they stick in them. It is in the guest room, so I don't have to live with it. If it was the main tv, I would have to get a 4kmax, cube or a ONN box and skip the internal fire os completely.

Yeah no thanks. Not buying a used TV from woot that would be in questionable condition and possibly missing parts. For a few dollars more you can buy a brand new 4k TV with a warranty. This is a suckers deal.
