Ok, contrarian opinion… not a good deal. Standard, Chinese components you can get at harbor freight for $12. The packaged it nicely, so the marketing is good.

Ok, contrarian opinion… not a good deal. Standard, Chinese components you can get at harbor freight for $12. The packaged it nicely, so the marketing is good.

Actual price as in RRP maybe. The cordless electric screwdriver is certainly the most expensive part in there, similar ones go for around $25. The other parts are maybe worth $4 each, so $30 isn't a bad price but it's not really worth $80 compared to similar tools.

Time for a price adjustment, just bought 2 for college bound kids last week at 40 a pop.

For the money I think it was good, at this price even better. The same money will buy you a bit more at Harbor Freight but the form factor of the case and the quality of the tools warrants the extra here.

I guess the good deal is that you can return it when the electric stuff craps out in a year or so. Fantikk shows us that the difference between a quality product and cheap Chinese garbage is commonly the packaging and "brand"
