Sonos stock is down 43% from the app debacle last May. The headphone missed projected sales by 90%. Not surprised by the price cut. The company has definitely not recovered and only time will tell if they ever will.

Really wish these had wifi. I can only assume they didn't because of battery life but it what many including myself expected from them.

I might bite at $150. Buying anything Sonos is a gamble right now. Before people say everything is better and fixed now, no it isn't. Also, these are the first generation, the second gen will be much better after they learn a few things.

What are some headphones currently available that use wifi? I don't mean RF 2.4ghz but wifi - like a Sonos speaker.

Yeah, same here. Hey Sonos voice control and device independent music streaming was what I was excited about.

Fun fact though, they do have WiFi capability but Sonos only enables it for handoff mode, where it's passing audio from their soundbar to the headphones. There's a chance they software enable it for more uses once they're get their app debacle sorted. Their CEO implied something to this end during an interview.

They're aren't any (or many?), that's why this could have been a killer feature to distinguish these headphones from the others.

It missed projected sales because it's missing some seemingly obvious features.
Only one set of Headphones per Soundbar
Doesn't work with playbar
Doesn't work with music from non-soundbar speakers
For $450, you're better off with a different pair of headphones and a BT transmitter from your TV. I was very excited to buy these when they came out, but moved on after founding out that there was minimal integration into the Sonos system.
For $250 though, they could be a decent pair of Bluetooth headphones.

I worry about this alot now. I have a house full of Sonos and love it when it works right. I am glad they finally ditched the CEO who kept doing dumb stuff that ticked off the entire user base. I think they need to just get back to simple working products. I am hesitant to buy anything new until I see they will survive this.
