We bought on of these last year. I don't have any complaints. It works as it's supposed to and cooks great.

Is it worth getting a blackstone griddle over this?

No. They are all pretty much the same, sheet metal top with braces welded underneath. My black stone has 'H' shaped burners, so it heats pretty evenly, This has straight burners, like a restaurant griddle so should perform as well.

The side tables flip over to make a lid, that's kind of cool.

Does anyone else feel like having an outdoor griddle is a fad? I have a large indoor stove-top griddle that I got at a fraction of the price and it stores better. How exactly are these different/better?
A fad… for the past century? Lol

It's just preference - cooking indoors vs outdoors.

Are there any metal lids that fit this?
Does it have a place to attach a 3rd party hinge lid?

This vs Member's Mark 4 burner for $199? They seem very similar, with this one having slightly higher BTUs.

One doesn't splatter grease all over your stove/kitchen. I also have one and I hate using it. I bought the woot blackstone a few weeks ago

I have the smaller version of this that folds down to a flat cart and is transportable. I always wish it was a little bigger (I don't need a 36") but it gets the job done. Ideally I would love a 28" blackstone not only is it wider but a little deeper. But again mine gets the job done and I got it for $80. It also is nice to transport it when needed.
