From Amazon AI's summarization of reviews: "Customers find the spatula to be a good value at $5. However, the build quality receives negative feedback, with reports of it breaking easily and coming out warped in the dishwasher. Moreover, the spatula melts when touching a hot frying pan and is not heat resistant. Additionally, customers disagree on the spatula's thickness, size, and flexibility, with some finding it perfect while others say it's smaller than expected and not very flexible."

TLDR: It is trash/equivalent to what you'd get at the dollar store at best.

Afraid of the recent studies about the dangers of black plastics? Well, melamine is not the safe alternative.

"Melamine is safe for serving food but should not be exposed to temperatures above 160°F (71°C). Heating melamine (e.g., in microwaves or with hot foods) can cause chemicals to migrate into food"

Are you cooking on a stove top with less than 160°F? My family switched to Teakwood, but let me know if anyone has a better/safe plastic replacement.

Yeah, heated melamine supposedly can give you kidney stones
