It does have the Boost/Force start button, which can be a plus for use with a completely drained or very low battery.
I am starting to lean toward investing in the super capacitor style next time, so no need to worry about longevity, or storing in the car during any climate. Just not the same price points for the one I like.
Currently looking into a couple of options, the front runner being the Autowit version for $109.99 after clipped $20 off coupon. [amazon.com]
The drawback would be not able to be used as a battery pack, a feature which I am not really seeking out anyway.
Also, no tire inflation which many are integrating into the lithium ion jump starters now. The Super Capacitor style just won't do these things since they are without any battery/reserve. Just made to jump start.
So still sitting on the fence for now.
2nd place is currently the Schumacher DSR108 DSR ProSeries [amazon.com], but the price would need to drop a little more to go with it, because it has fewer cranking amps (450 vs. up to 800 peak for the Autowit). Currently just under $75. Reported as having been around $59 in another recent thread. So I am waiting to see a price drop or coupon pop up for it to seriously consider that one.
