It's 100% leather in the same what chicken McNuggets are (mostly) chicken - leather scraps are put in a blender, made into a leather slurry, and reformed into the shape of a belt.

Weird listing, some of the photos look like real full grain leather, some are obviously not. Some buyers get it and say it's a thick piece of leather, some say it's thin and plastic-y. On the third color there is an animation showing it can be"stretch" that looks like the black "leather" but the text says it's for a braided belt. Weird a big brand would have such terrible information, so who knows what you'll get but could be worth a try with free returns.

I had two. This is trash. It is split "leather." Two pieces adhered together which will separate. The edge band will lift first. Then you'll see the leather split at the seams. Many have started to stitch them together but still an inferior product to a single layer leather belt.
