Deal Details
Best Buy has a Geek Squad Refurbished Samsung 990 Pro 1TB NVMe.

Refurbished or renewed drives from Best Buy are in general solid deals.
I have bought this drive last year with zero writes and another earlier this year again with zero writes but 4 power cycles.

Running on Proxmox with no issues.

Check the SMART info. You may use any disk utility such as Samsung Magician, CrystalDiskInfo, HWiNFO, GSmartControl, etc.

This can be done only after plugging into the laptop right? Any usb based device that can make it easy to check this without installing in laptop

Last time there was a massive oversupply of NAND 1TB drives fell to $29. A former flagship like this should be around $39 at most. Samdung still happily ripping people off.

I bought two 990 pro 4tb drives from samsung and paid for same day delivery. They shipped it to me from Best Buy. I installed and had issues, had to call samsu g tech support for them to tell me the drives were counterfeit. So careful buying drives from best buy or fulfilled by best buy.
