Can a US Bank account be opened if you reside in NJ? I believe I tried doing this a year back and the application was denied saying they don't offer bank accounts in NJ?

They are cheating, I opened an account 3 months back and did direct deposit and did all that is said . They didn't give any bonus. I called 10 different times and they cannot credit any amount.

Usually that's cfpb complaint territory but cfpb is in shambles at the moment

This bank is absolutely 100% scammers. I tried similar "offer" from them about a year ago. Kept 10,000 in my newly opened account for over 6 months, met all of the requirements and promo code BS. After all of that, not a penny. Even they representatives on the phone admitted to me that I have met all of the requirements. Totally fraudulent statements and promises they will NEVER fulfill.
