Does this thing actually suck or does it suck compared to the milwaukee fuel stack model? I know the price sucks, cause I seen it on sale @ $79 before.

Was hoping to see this today, but lower. Good backup to have in case power goes out and I can't use my standard wet/dry shop vac and there is a water issue.

This was one of the first cordless wet/dry vacs on the market. Technology has come a long way since it was released and, accordingly, just about every other cordless wet/dry vac has better suction. I had the DCV581H (same but with dual power--120V or 20V MAX) and replaced it with the RIDGID HD0318 ($129 regular price) plus a DeWalt to RIDGID battery adapter from Amazon (~$20). The RIDGID is a 3 gallon, rather than 2 gallon, but is a similar overall size, you can get bags for it and, most importantly, the suction is so much better than the DeWalt.
I since also picked up an M18 2 gallon (non FUEL) from a recent slickdeal for $54. That one also has way better suction than the DeWalt, although not as good as the RIDGID. Like the DeWalt, the M18 2 gallon doesn't take bags. However, the M18 FUEL packout model (2.5 gallon) does take bags.

Good to know. Gonna pass on the Dewalt & wait for the m18 fuel packout to go on sale.

Here's a Project Farm review. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdhuatYzJw8 It's a bit old (4 years) and so there are some newer players not included, but it reinforces your choice.
